On Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Collège Canado—as part of the process to strengthen and expand the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H), with the goal of increasing the institution’s personnel to 15,000 service members over the next three year, the FAd’H held the written examinations for the admission process for 2,000 applicants.
Following the completion of all required evaluations and background checks, the 700 candidates with the highest scores will be selected to join the Armed Forces of Haiti’s training center as part of the next intake of recruits.
The successful execution of this stage of the recruitment process was commended by Minister of Defense Mario Andrésol, who congratulated the FAd’H High Command, the Recruitment Commission, and all personnel involved for the high quality of the organization.
Andrésol also emphasized the necessity of upholding the principles of rigor, discipline, transparency, and merit at every stage of the process, qualities essential for selecting the men and women who will serve the nation within the military institution.
