On Thursday April 15, Fritz Dorvillier Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, received two representatives of the International Haitian Congress (CIH), an organization whose mission is to bring together all Haitian nationals living abroad in order to federate them around Haiti’s investment and development projects.
Hugo Cantave and Harry Metellus informed Consul Dorvillier of certain investment projects that members of the Haitian International Congress intend to carry out in Haiti, in the sectors of agriculture, green energy and technologies. financial intermediation.
They took the opportunity to request information on the legal arrangements relating to foreign direct investment and the types of public-private partnership possible in Haiti.
The Consul General assured them of a rigorous and sustained follow-up and seized the opportunity to explain to them how the project of the new Constitution would benefit this kind of initiative.
