“Corventina” best player of the “Champions Trophy” match
Sunday September 10, 2023, Melchie Daëlle Dumornay aka “Corventina” for her first match with Olympique Lyonnais (OL), against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) played the “Champions Trophy” match which precedes the opening of the season. She opened the scoring in a match which saw OL win [2-0] against PSG. Brilliant throughout the match, she was voted best player of the match.
USA : 8 million in humanitarian aid for Haiti
Martin Griffiths, Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, announced the release of 8 million US dollars from the UN Central Emergency Response Fund (UNCERF) to strengthen humanitarian operations in Haiti. These funds will make it possible to provide vital assistance to the deprived population.
DR : 18 Haitians arrested
Members of the Dominican Army intercepted 18 Haitians in an irregular migratory situation aboard a jeep crossing the province of Santiago Rodríguez. They were transferred to the General Santiago Rodríguez Fortress, then will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration for repatriation.
