President Luis Abinader issued Decree 479-23 appointing several consuls. Through this decree Viriato Antonio Segura Paniagua was appointed consul in Port-au-Prince

OAS sends technical mission to Haiti

The Organization of American States (OAS) announced, this Thursday, October 12, 2023, the dispatch of an immediate technical mission to Haiti, to evaluate the construction of a canal on the Massacre River. This will be a mission that will work both on the water resources level and on the legal level. It was the secretary general of the hemispheric organization, Luis Almagro, who made the announcement.

Ariel Henry receives the new Canadian ambassador

The Prime Minister, Ariel Henry, received, Thursday morning at the Official Residence, the new Canadian Ambassador to Haiti, Mr. André François Giroux.
