Stolen 4X4 vehicle found at the border
The North-East Departmental Directorate of the National Police discovered and recovered a Nissan Frontier all-terrain vehicle, abandoned in the locality of Dérac near the Haitian-Dominican border. This vehicle was reportedly stolen in Port-au-Prince to be resold in the Dominican Republic
The EU supports Dominican intentions to build hospitals at the border
The Ambassador of the European Union (EU) in the country, Gianluca Grippa, expressed his support for the intentions of the Dominican Government to build hospitals on the border with Haiti, as well as the implementation of other alternatives that help to fight against illegal migration.

Flood in Jean-Rabel, reaction by Jovenel Moïse
“I visited the affected families following the flooding in Jean-Rabel. On this occasion, I spoke with the city authorities including the mayor, members of the civil protection, the DD du MAST with a view to immediate assistance to the victims. Following the flood which caused damage in the department of the North West, I asked the PM to pass clear instructions to the Ministers of the Interior, and of social organizations in order to help around sixty families in the town of Jean-Rabel, “Jovenel Moïse informed on Sunday.
