France : major Civil Protection support project

The French Development Agency (AFD) and Expertise France completed an 8-day mission to Haiti on Monday, February 26, intended to launch a major civil protection support project. This project includes the creation of a civil protection training center and 4 equipped and operational emergency centers. Discussions with the Haitian authorities concerned made it possible to define the main priorities of the project. The financing of this project marks France’s desire to contribute to improving human security in Haiti.
