COVID : Frantz-Gérard Verret is deceased
The former President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) Frantz-Gérard Verret, architect by training, graduate in Law and Representative of the Catholic Church within the CEP (2007-2009) died Sunday, May 23 in a hospital in Delmas 2, following complications related to Covid.
ONA : Closures for disinfection
The central office of the National Insurance Office (ONA) and its branch located in Pétion-ville will be closed for 3 days due to disinfection measures at these institutions. During these three days, employees are asked to stay at home, announced Marie Ghiselaine Monpremier, Minister a.i. of Social Affairs and Labor. “We will set up temperature measurements for employees and customers, hand washing points” asking the Minister of Health to facilitate the screening test of ONA employees “These are protective measures”.
COVID : DG of BMPAD tested positive
Fils Aimé Ignace Saint Fleur, the Director General of the Office for the Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD), tested positive for Covid-19. Information confirmed in a note from the Administrative and Financial Department which specifies that Saint-Fleur is currently receiving intensive care in a hospital in the Capital and its state of health is stable.
Northeast : The Ministry of the Interior on tour
On Monday 24 May, a mission from the Ministry of the Interior on tour in the North-East, led by the Director of Territorial Communities, Mallew Étienne, worked with the local authorities in Trou-du-Nord, on the delimitation project of Pilette, Dubuisson and Leroux Cachiman, as communal sections. This is the first stop on a MICT tour in the North East.
West : Road infrastructure needs
