DR conflict : Construction of an irrigation canal in Haiti stopped

Dominican President Luis Abinader informed that Haiti had stopped the construction of its irrigation canal on the Massacre river so that the problem could be resolved within the framework of a meeting between the two Technical Secretariats of the Haitian-Dominican Joint Commission. Thursday, May 27, and in compliance with international law on the use of international river waters and the agreements and treaties signed between the two countries.

300 midwives for 11 million people !
