Chile : Renewal of passports

Ambassador Bocchit Edmond received this week Ambassador Beausoleil Sam Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Permanent Representative of Haiti to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), as well as the Ambassador of Haiti to Chile Ms. Wedlyne Pierre Francois for a series of working sessions. These meetings aimed to establish a task force to deal with the large number of passport renewal requests from Haitian citizens on Chilean soil.

Madame Solange Pierre Louis Aristide, the mother of former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, who resided in Florida, died almost two months after turning 100 on May 6, 2021.
