Haiti – North-East : Towards the construction of 16 new schools
While the construction works of 25 new school infrastructures are about to be completed, the procurement unit of the National Education Fund (FNE) following the call for tenders launched on May 14, proceeded the past week to the opening of the bids for the construction of 16 other national schools in the department of the North-East in order to strengthen the school park and to guarantee access to education in better conditions through the different regions of the country.
These schools are located in the copmmunes of Fort-Liberté, Perches, Terrier rouge, Carice, Mont-Organisé, Mombin Crochu, Capotille, Ouanaminthe, Trou du Nord and Sainte-Suzanne.
Note that 35 firms submitted their files on time. After analyzing each bid, the Bid Opening and Evaluation Committee will submit its recommendations to the General Directorate of the FNE. which in turn will send its report to the National Commission for Public Procurement (CNMP) for validation.
