Following the establishment in Chile of a migration regularization plan with a registration period of 180 days, from April 20, 2021 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33745-haiti-flash-thousands-of-haitians-risk-deportation-to-chile.html and in view of the long delays to obtain with the Haitian administration, a certificate of judicial antecedent, essential part to register for this Plan, Claude Joseph in his capacity as Minister ai of Foreign Affairs and has already had two virtual meetings with the various officials in order to speed up procedures to help compatriots
“In my capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs and, with the aim of resolving the problem of slowness in the delivery of this important document for the regularization and integration of our compatriots, I recommended to the central director of the judicial police:
To increase the hourly workload of the staff of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) assigned to the criminal records service;
To increase the number of executives assigned to data collection;
To strengthen the technical supervision of the police certificate service;
To create a single service in order to reduce the duration of the process.
